WATCH: Mac McLouth Driving Force For Progress of Port Canaveral For More Than 50 Years

MALCOLM “MAC” MCLOUTH, a driving force of the progress of Port Canaveral since the 1970s, has served as a port commissioner nine times and as the CEO for four years. McLouth, a civil engineer, has devoted a large part of his career to the creation and advancement of Port Canaveral and is now running again for the District 5 seat.

Alex Powers All-American, ACC-Scholar Athlete and Player of the Year During Career at Florida State

During Alex Powers’ junior year at Florida State, she was selected as an NFCA All-American as she batted an astounding .396 with 16 home runs, 63 RBIs, 62 runs, and 32 walks. She also went 8 for 14 during the College World Series and earned a spot on the WCWS All-Tournament Team. She was also selected All-ACC First Team, NFCA All-Region First Team and ACC Player of the Year.

Edgewood Jr./Sr. High OpenSorcerers Defeat 17 Other Schools, Wins Harris Student Design Challenge

A total of 18 teams from six high schools in Florida and New Jersey battled it out on virtual sailing race courses at Harris Corporation Thursday, with the OpenSorcerers team from Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School in Merritt Island, Florida, taking top honors.
