shooting happened near 2800 block of Colbert Circle
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne officers were responded to the scene of a deadly shooting on the 2800 block of Colbert Circle early Tuesday morning.
When police arrived around 7:48 a.m., they found a 23-year-old female victim.
Police officers and Melbourne Fire Rescue immediately provided her medical attention. However, despite their life-saving efforts, she did not survive.
Detectives are currently investigating this incident and anyone with information is asked to call the Melbourne Police Department 321-608-6731 or the Central Florida Crimeline 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
The identity of the victim has not yet been released police.
