The winningest class in UCF history went out with a bang on Senior Knight in front of over 45,000 fans at Spectrum Stadium, defeating rival South Florida by a score of 34-7 in the annual War On I-4 on Black Friday.
The UCF football team lost its third road game of the season on Friday night, falling to Tulsa by a score of 34-31 in an American Athletic Conference contest at Chapman Stadium.
The UCF (5-2, 2-1) defense didn’t allow a touchdown in the first half, taking a commanding 35-6 lead into the break.
The UCF football team opened the season ranked 17th in both the Preseason Amway Coaches Poll and AP Top 25. After defeating Florida A&M 62-0 in week one, the Knights remained at 17 in the Coaches Poll, but fell to 18th in the nation in the AP Poll.
The second season under head coach Josh Heupel was an impressive affair, as the UCF football team defeated visiting Florida A&M by a score of 62-0 in the 2019 season opener at Spectrum Stadium. After losing for the first time in 26 games last January, the Knights (1-0) returned to their winning ways Thursday night in front of 44,073 fans.
