Residents in parts of Marion, Volusia and Lake counties may hear a few loud booms this weekend. The U.S. Navy is dropping live bombs on the Ocala National Forest this week as part of a series of training exercises that will last through Monday.

Brevard’s Elise Bianco, Timothy Kerstetter Charged With Stealing Power Tools Worth $4,000 From Home Depot

A Brevard County couple is accused of carrying out an organized scheme to sneak power tools out of stores under blankets. Police said Elise Bianco and her partner Timothy Kerstetter raided a Home Depot in West Melbourne often enough to each rack up a dozen charges, including organized fraud and grand theft.
