Shooting happened Monday near Eau Gallie Boulevard and I-95
BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputy has been shot during a traffic stop on Monday in West Melbourne, according to BCSO spokesman Tod Goodyear.
The incident happened near U.S. 192 and Interstate-95.
I-95 has been shut down at Eau Gallie Boulevard as law enforcement investigates the shooting.
A large law enforcement presence could be seen on Florida Department of Transportation cameras near U.S. 192 and Simon Road.
