extra buses are on busiest fixed routes to limit the number of riders on each bus to better maintain social distancing

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – We appreciate you riding the buses and want to continue providing service to you as best we can for as long as we can.
You know that we have taken extra cleaning measures on the buses and in the buildings.
Building access is getting more limited, as directed by the County, but we want to be able to continue to sell passes at the Cocoa Terminal, as well as by mail and online.
We put extra buses on the busiest fixed routes to try to limit the number of riders on each bus to better maintain social distancing.
We have had disinfectant foggers on order for the buses for several weeks, but they have not come in yet. We are allowing the drivers to wear masks and gloves. We have had masks on order but like everywhere else we cannot get them. We want to protect our drivers and you.
Please follow the hygiene guidelines that have been put out to limit the spread of the virus.
Especially cough or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve, not into the open air or into your hand.
I ask that if you don’t need to ride, that you limit your trips. We want to provide essential transportation for people who really need it, and limit crowds. If you are sick or have virus symptoms please don’t ride.
We feel like we are in this together. Let’s do what we can to limit the spread of the disease and get you to your important destinations.
