BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is now offering student internship opportunities to students of Criminal Justice, Public Administration and related fields of study.
We are very proud of the relationships we share with Schools and Universities throughout the state who are educating Florida’s future criminal justice professionals.
With a reputation for excellence, BCSO welcomes future criminal justice professionals who are interested in gaining a working knowledge and valuable practical experience in their chosen field of study. The Sheriff’s Office will accommodate work and school schedules so that students can rotate through each facet of our organization.
Most educational institutions offer course credits for successfully completing an internship program, so please contact your academic advisor and our agency for more information.

Those functions range from certified Law Enforcement Deputies who patrol our communities and Corrections Deputies who maintain security and professional standards at our County Jail, to a multitude of other positions such as Court Security, Analytical Support, Animal Enforcement, Crime Scene Investigations, Emergency Dispatch, technical and various administrative support positions.
