BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County has reported 2,705 cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 36 years of age, and 48 percent are male and 52 percent are female.
The current Brevard list includes 2,688 Florida residents and 17 non-residents.
Brevard COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 137. Twenty deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County.
The Florida Department of Health reports 53,374 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to Tuesday’s report, 50,659 of those tests have come back negative.
The Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 213,794 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state out of 2,271,267 tests done statewide with 16,425 hospitalized.
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 3,841 as of Tuesday.
In the U.S., over 2,948,397 million confirmed cases have been reported and 130,430 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 11,662,574 with 539,058 global deaths.
