BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County has reported 1,716 cases of COVID-19 as of Monday afternoon, according to the Florida Department of Health.
According to the Florida Department of Health, the demographic breakdown of the age of those testing positive ranges from 1 to 94, with the median age being 37 years of age, and 48 percent are male and 52 percent are female.
The current Brevard list includes 1,700 Florida residents and 16 non-residents.
Brevard COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization is 108. Seventeen deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19 in Brevard County.
The Florida Department of Health reports 43,203 tests have been administered in Brevard County. According to Monday’s report, 41,483 of those tests have come back negative.
The Florida Department of Health has reported a total of 146,341 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state out of 1,914,151 tests done statewide with 14,354 hospitalized.
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Florida are 3,447 as of Monday.
In the U.S., over 2,562,921 million confirmed cases have been reported and 125,927 deaths have been attributed to COVID-19. Global cases reported are 10,195,680 with 502,802 global deaths.
