(STUBOCATS.COM) – The National Association of Student-Athletes announced the Football All-America Teams for the 2022 season on Thursday afternoon. St. Thomas University Football running back, Rontavious Farmer was selected as an Honorable Mention list.
This is the first year that Farmer has made a list.
The backfield workhorse led the country in total rushing yards this season, crushing his career record and program record with 1,553 rushing yards.
Farmer blew away all the single-season records with rushing yards per game 155.3, touchdowns 14, and attempts 254.
Farmer was named Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice and a First-Team All-Conference member.
Farmer was top-10 in the country in touchdowns, rushes, rushing yards, yards per rush and yards per game, while leading the conference in all categories but yards per rush.
