citizens get vital crime prevention information before they can become next victim
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Throughout this past week, the members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit were busy doing their part to help lower our crime rate even further, by getting our citizens vital crime prevention information before they can become crime’s next victim.
Through our partnerships with our public schools, business owners, women’s clubs, homeowners associations, churches, and local government, our Crime Prevention Team reached over 300 Brevard County residents this week on topics such as anti-bullying, fraud prevention, personal safety, active shooters, human trafficking, and even hands-on self-defense training.
Our Crime Prevention Team works hard each and every day to make sure that our citizens get the information they need to protect themselves against any crime trends that could be impacting our community.
Through programs such as lunch and learns and neighborhood crime watch presentations, our Crime Prevention Unit has been an incredible part of helping lower our Brevard County Crime Rate by 51% in the past nine years.
If you would like to schedule a Crime Prevention Presentation for your business, organization, or neighborhood, please call our Crime Prevention Team at (321) 264-7755.
