BCSO brings awareness to National Child Abuse Prevention Month
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Earlier today, I was honored to stand with members of our Criminal Investigative Services team, the Children’s Advocacy Center, Brevard Family Partnership, and Brevard Cares as we planted Blue and Silver Pinwheels to bring awareness to National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
While the month of April is recognized as ‘National Child Abuse Prevention Month,’ it’s also important for our community to do everything we can each and every day of the year to protect our most precious of citizens, our children.
We are blessed to have in our community the Children’s Advocacy Center, Brevard Family Partnership, and Brevard Cares who along with numerous other organizations work 24/7 to protect our children by preventing, investigating, and solving child abuse and neglect cases.
These agencies, including our team members from Criminal Investigative Services work closely together to make sure that every child in our community is safe.
Please join me in thanking all of the hard-working men and women of these organizations for all they do to help keep children in our community safe and also the members of our Criminal Investigative Services team for all they do to protect the children of Brevard County.
