BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Temple Baptist Church, Speakout and Space Coast Daily are excited to invite you and your kids to a FREE Family event on March 4 at USSSA Stadium in Viera.

The event will pit world-famous Bob Holmes, better known as the “One Man Volleyball Team” against the BCSO Enforcers Basketball Team and two other celebrity teams in three games of volleyball.

Bob single-handedly competes against teams of six in an actual volleyball game and holds an amazing record of over 18,500 wins and just 450 losses!

While Bob at age 65 is an intense competitor, it is his very touching faith-based anti-bullying and teen suicide prevention message that speaks directly to our younger audience.

I am extremely proud to partner with Bob and our co-sponsors in presenting this very important message to parents, teenagers and children in our community as preventing teenage suicide and bullying are paramount to the safety of our youth.

Last year over 2,700 children in the United States committed suicide and Bob’s message is designed to not only prevent teenage suicide but also to open up conversations and awareness against bullying as well.

Doors open for the event at 6 p.m. with the competition and program starting at 7 p.m. There will be exciting K-9 demos prior to the competition and concessions will be open throughout the event.

I look forward to seeing everyone there as I will be playing on one of the teams and I plan on making sure Bob goes home with another loss added to his record!
