Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies took four juvenile suspects into custody Tuesday morning after a search near the Merritt Island Walmart by K9 units and BCSO aviation unit.
On Friday, members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit arrested Michael Charles, who was the Catch of the Day on this past weekend’s episode of “Fishing for Fugitives.”
Dale Kenneth Filipowicz, 48, of Merritt Island, was arrested Monday evening about 7 p.m. in Cocoa Beach by Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies and charged with Flee/Elude LEO With Lights/Siren, DUI 4th or Subsequent Offense, DUI Property Damage/Personal Injury, Leave Scene Crash w/Prop Damage and Resist Officer WO Violence.
Early Saturday afternoon our Communication Center received information from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office that there was a Black Jaguar SUV northbound on U.S. 1, doing approximately 100 mph that had been stolen during an armed carjacking.
Mike Torres, 62, of Merritt Island, was arrested by Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies on Monday evening after making a bomb threat to an employee at Dollar General, located at 3995 N. Courtenay Parkway on Merritt Island.
