Game dates and kickoff times for this season’s Cheez-It Bowl and Vrbo Citrus Bowl were announced this morning as part of ESPN’s 2020-21 college football bowl schedule release.

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Game dates and kickoff times for this season’s Cheez-It Bowl and Vrbo Citrus Bowl were announced this morning as part of ESPN’s 2020-21 college football bowl schedule release.

The 2020 Cheez-It Bowl, featuring top teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and Big 12, will take place Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 5:30 p.m. ET at Camping World Stadium and will be broadcast on ESPN.

This bowl season will mark Cheez-It’s first as an Orlando bowl title sponsor. In last year’s game, then known as the Camping World Bowl, Notre Dame defeated Iowa State 33-9 behind 146 receiving yards and a touchdown from game MVP Chase Claypool, now with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 75th Vrbo Citrus Bowl, pitting the SEC against the Big Ten, will be played in its traditional New Year’s Day timeslot, kicking off at 1 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 1 on ABC. In last year’s game, Alabama defeated Michigan 35-16, with Crimson Tide wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, a first-round pick of the Denver Broncos, taking home MVP honors.
