BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Draft 5-year Consolidated Plan is now available to review below and we are now accepting public comment on the draft plan from June 9, 2022, through July 12, 2022.
The Housing and Neighborhood Services Division administers federal and state-funded community development and housing programs whose common goal is to improve the quality of life for Cocoa’s income-eligible residents and revitalize neighborhoods.
Programs include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program.
The City’s 5-Year Consolidated Plan and Action Plans are located below for review.
Open for Public Comment from June 9 to July 12.
Fiscal Year 22-27 Draft Consolidated Plan
Agencies, groups, and individuals are invited and encouraged to share their ideas and comments with City Staff.

The City also receives State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program funding.
The SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan and SHIP Annual Report are available online.
The City of Cocoa is using CDBG CARES Act funding to support Cocoa citizens with rental and mortgage assistance through local community agencies.
