City of Palm Bay Releases Traffic Advisory Ahead of Holiday Light Parade Tonight

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay 2022 Holiday Light Parade is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 3.

According to officials, beginning at 5:00 p.m. this Saturday Malabar Road will be completely closed, in both directions, from San Filippo Drive to Minton, and Minton Road will be closed between Malabar and Jupiter Boulevard.

The estimated time of the parade ending is 9 p.m. The roads will re-open as soon as barriers and pedestrians are cleared from the roadway.

All traffic exiting Interstate 95, both Southbound and Northbound, will be directed East on Malabar Road. Motorists are asked to use Palm Bay Road or Babcock Street as an alternate route during the parade.

The parade will start at Eastern Florida State College’s Palm Bay Campus and travel west on Malabar towards the Palm Bay City Hall.

Police officials said the roadways would be reopened as soon as crowds disperse and the area is cleared.
