Cocoa Police Officer Arrested After Domestic Violence-Related Incident

Cocoa Police Officer Patrick Kelly, 39, was arrested in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 29, and charged with Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon without intent to kill, and discharging a firearm in public, according to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tod Goodyear.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Officer Patrick Kelly, 39, was arrested in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 29, and charged with Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon without intent to kill, and discharging a firearm in public, according to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tod Goodyear.

According to an arrest record, the charges stem from a domestic violence-related incident and Kelly may have been under the influence of alcohol.

Kelly is now on No Bond the Brevard County Jail.
