BUSHNELL, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Tigers (9-3) advanced to the Florida High School Athletic Association 2S state semifinals after defeating the South Sumter Raiders (12-1) 35-7 Friday night on the road.
The Tigers have now reached the state semis for 16 straight years and will now face the No.1 seed Bradford Tornadoes in the final four on Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. on the road.
If the Tigers defeat Bradford, they will play in the title game in Tallahassee at Gene Cox Stadium.
