60 Courageous Kicks students showcased their skills

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Courageous Kicks students topped the demonstration event in Taekwondo on the final day of the 2022 Demo Night at Park Avenue Christian Academy in Titusville on Friday.
Sixty Courageous Kicks students showcased their skills on Friday.
“My biggest dream is to become a national and international champion,” said a Courageous Kicks student.
Earlier this year, The Courageous Kicks Taekwondo students made it to their national debut as they kicked off the 2022 USCDKA National Championships on a high note, following their victories in the color belt, junior black belt, and black belt categories in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Over four months after their historic feat on home soil, the Courageous Kicks Taekwondo jins are determined to continue their national dominance in the 2023 USCDKA National Championships.
Taekwondo Master, 6th Degree, Master Happy Kierstead, was the first person to win first place in the nation twice.
She was inducted as a Hall of Fame black belt role model and served under the supervision of Senior Grand Master Edward B. Sell and Grand Master Brenda Sell.
“The students gained enough experience they can use to become better fighters for future competitions,” Kierstead said.
Courageous Kicks is inviting and encouraging parents to actively guide their children into sports and, likewise, inviting sports enthusiasts to witness any USCDKA event.
