both airlines continue to operate reduced schedules
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Air carrier partners Delta Air Lines and American Airlines have shown their commitment at Orlando Melbourne International Airport and the community amidst challenges and difficult decisions necessary due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Even during the most trying times earlier this year, both airlines continued to operate reduced schedules.
Today, American Airlines varies between one and three daily nonstop flights to Charlotte (CLT).
Delta Air Lines continues to operate twice daily to its Atlanta (ATL) hub with a third daily flight anticipated to begin October 1. The existing flights are scheduled on the airline’s B-717 aircraft and the new flight will be operated with its CRJ-900 regional aircraft.
“To our airline partners, we thank you for continuing to service our airport during this unparalleled and historic time in the world and in our industry,” said Jack L. Ryals, Chairman of the Melbourne Airport Authority.
