Eastern Florida State College Men’s Basketball Team Begins Preseason at the All-American Jamboree

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will begin the preseason Friday at the All-American Jamboree at The Big House in Tavares.

The Titans, who are coming off a 22-9 season, will play three games on Friday at the jamboree to kick off the new season.

Eastern Florida State College will also play exhibition games at Embry-Riddle on Oct. 20 and will host Rollins College on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. before kicking off the new season on Nov. 1.

The season opener will also be the home opener as the Titans will host Palm Beach State College Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.

It will be the first of three straight home games for Eastern Florida State College which will play Time to Ball Prep on Nov. 4 and then Mid-Florida Academy on Nov. 5.

The Titans will hit the road for a couple of tournaments in November, playing in the South Georgia Tech Classic on Nov. 11 and 12 and then will play three games at the Monroe NYC Classic on Nov. 17-19.

The men’s team will begin December by hosting the Jim Grimes Classic at Titan Field House on Dec. 2-3. On Friday, Dec. 2, South Georgia Technical College will play Daytona State College and then the Titans will take on ASA College. On Saturday, Dec. 3, ASA College will play Daytona State College and EFSC will play South Georgia Tech.

Eastern Florida State College will once again be one of the host sites for the Florida JUCO Shootout Dec. 10-11. Sixteen teams from all across Florida will be at Titan Field House for two days of basketball.

The Titans will play Florida Southwestern State College on Saturday, Dec. 10, and then Tallahassee Community College on Dec. 11.

The men’s team will wrap up December by hosting the Josh Artis Classic on Dec. 29-30.

On Dec. 29, Southern Union State CC will open the tournament against Pensacola with the Titans playing Coastal Alabama-North at 8 p.m.

On Dec. 30, Pensacola will play Coastal Alabama and then EFSC will wrap up the tournament against Southern Union State CC at 4 p.m.

After Christmas break, the Titans will begin the Central Conference schedule with 15 conference games beginning at Polk State College on Jan. 7.

The Titans are the defending conference champions with Santa Fe and will battle the Saints, Daytona State College, St. Petersburg College, Polk State, and Florida State College at Jacksonville for the top spot again this season.

Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the regular season on Feb. 25 at home against the Florida State College at Jacksonville.
