Eastern Florida State College Women’s Basketball Now No. 18 in Latest NJCAA Division I Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team moves up to No. 18 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll released on Monday.

The Titans are 19-3 overall and 6-0 in the Central Conference heading into Wednesday night’s game against Daytona State College at Titan Field House.

The ranking comes a day after the women’s team was ranked fourth in the NJCAA Region VIII poll, which is the highest-ranking since the 2015-16 season.

Eastern Florida State College has won seven games in a row and has won its past nine games in a row at home. Offensively, the Titans are averaging 76.8 points per game which ranks second in the state and allows just 58.4 points which are fifth-best in the state.

Wednesday night’s game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus. Admission is free and the game will be broadcast live on WEFS-TV.
