Brevard County libraries offer in-person guidance on the application process

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Are you a Brevard County resident in need of help applying for emergency rental assistance?
Brevard County’s Housing and Human Services Department is partnering up with select local libraries to offer in-person guidance on the application process for the Brevard County Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance and housing stability services to income-eligible households for rent, rental arrears, utilities, and home energy costs, utilities and home energy costs arrears, and other expenses related to housing incurred due, directly or indirectly, to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Participating libraries and hours include:
■ Monday from 12 to 5 p.m., Tuesday- Friday 9-5 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Public Library, 1521 Pineapple Ave. Melbourne, FL 32935.
■ Monday – Friday 9-4 p.m. at the Franklin T. DeGroodt Memorial Library, 6475 Minton Rd. S.W. Palm Bay, FL 32908.

All completed paper applications can be either:
■ Dropped off at any Brevard County Public Library
■ Mailed or hand-delivered to Housing and Human Services Department 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, B-106 Viera, Florida 32940
