Illegal Alien Arrested by Brevard County Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Firearm, Heroin and Cocaine

During the execution of the search warrant, 48-year-old Jethro J. Arthur, a Bahamian National, was arrested who was residing within the United States illegally.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This past week, agents with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit culminated a narcotics investigation with the execution of a search warrant at an apartment in the Tropical Manor Apartment Complex located at 1165 Jordan Road in Merritt Island.

During the execution of the search warrant, 48-year-old Jethro J. Arthur, a Bahamian National, was arrested and was also residing within the United States illegally.

Arthur, who has a history of being deported by HSI Immigration and Customs Enforcement had previously been deported 4 times and also served time in federal prison for illegal entry into the United States, along with prison time for drug-related offenses.

During the execution of the search warrant, Sheriff’s Office Agents seized a loaded firearm, approximately 128.9 grams of heroin, approximately 46.1 grams of cocaine, approximately 52.8 grams of MDMA, crack cocaine, a large assortment of illegal pills along with over $10,000 in U.S. Currency.

Arthur is being held on a “No Bond” status at the Brevard County Jail for Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Heroin Trafficking, Cocaine Trafficking, MDMA Trafficking, and 6 counts of Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell.

This case is a perfect example of the amazing work our Deputies and Agents do every day to keep our citizens safe and also a perfect example of how those who enter our country illegally continue to violate the law and put our citizens at risk.
