BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police detectives are seeking public assistance in locating a stolen construction trailer that went missing from a job site on the 600 block of South Apollo Boulevard on September 22.
The trailer is described as a 16-foot Triple Crown open construction trailer.
According to Melbourne police officials, on the evening of that same day, the trailer was last observed at a gas station on Malabar Road in Palm Bay, where a Hispanic male subject was attempting to sell ladders and other equipment from the trailer.
At that time, the trailer was being pulled by a 4-door, dark in color, Jeep Wrangler with an unknown tag.
The driver of the Jeep appeared to secure the hood with a rope.
