BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Merritt Island Mustangs boys soccer defeat the Melbourne Bulldogs 2-0 to win the 2022 Cape Coast Conference Championship Wednesday evening.
Seniors Brady Denaburg and Grant Paparella each scored a goal.
Merritt Island has won 9 out of their last 10 matches, tying in just one against West Shore.
The Mustangs will have the next few days off with their first-round bye heading into the District Quarterfinals.
