Palm Bay Fire Rescue officials responded to a single vehicle accident where the white Ford SUV drove off U.S. Highway 1 and  Port Malabar Road on Friday morning shortly after 7 a.m. According to officials, the dense brush kept the vehicle from going into the river. Reports suggest that the driver was alone and suffered only minor injuries. “Crews from Station 1 B-Shift were able to safely get the patient out of the vehicle and up a series of ladders to the top of the steep embankment,” said Palm Bay Fire Rescue spokesperson. BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue officials responded to a single vehicle accident where the white Ford SUV drove off  U.S. Highway 1 and  Port Malabar Road on Friday morning shortly after 7 a.m.

According to officials, the dense brush kept the vehicle from going into the river.

Reports suggest that the driver was alone and suffered only minor injuries.
