BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police Department’s Robin Renkens has retired after serving the department for more than two decades.
Renkens distinguished herself above and beyond her peers as the department’s materials management supervisor from January 1998 to Sept 2020.
“Over the last 22 years, Robin has gained a distinct reputation as this City’s expert in her field of Property, Evidence and Supply and Equipment in direct support of the police department’s public safety mission,” said PBPD officials.
“She authored the Standard Operation Procedures for all evidence handling and contributed to shaping department policy governing the evidence process.”
Throughout her career, Renkens has been an incredible leader, mentor and supervisor to many. She had a direct effect on the efficient operation of the department and has always been an amazing asset to the City.
During her career, her efforts and leadership have earned her much recognition including the department’s Meritorious Service Award.
“Good luck in your future endeavors Robin, you will be greatly missed,” said PBPD officials.
