BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay police officials are highlighting members of their agency in honor of Black History Month and recently spotlighted Officer Dave Ballard.

Officer Ballard has been with our agency since 1999, serving his 22nd year! He was also a member of the United States Army and served a combined total of 20 years.

He completed two tours in Afghanistan. Officer Ballard is a pilot in the United States Air Force Auxiliary flying for the Civil Air Patrol.

Officer Ballard currently works as a patrol officer on the day shift. He has patrolled every part of this city. Officer Ballard is a true public servant and strives to make a difference wherever he can.
