TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Gov. Ron DeSantis, a 2024 presidential candidate, vowed to bring accountability and end the weaponization of the DOJ if he were to become president.
The statement comes on the heels of the federal government announcing the indictment of former President Trump on 37 federal charges for Willful Retention of National of Defense Information, Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice and False Statements.
“The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society,” said Gov. DeSantis.
We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation.
