BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Rockledge Raider Daryl Smith has committed to run track and play collegiate football at Tusculum University.
Tusculum University is a private Presbyterian school located in Tennessee.
The Pioneers finished 5-6 last season and were first in the South Atlantic Conference.
Smith is a very versatile athlete who saw both sides of the field during his high school career. Mainly a defensive player, he finished with 64 total tackles and 1 interception in 2021.
A star on the track as well, last year Smith ran a 15.28 in the 110m hurdles, 45-foot triple jump, and 22-foot long jump – all ranking first and second on the team.
