players must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the entire academic year

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Six Panthers were recognized for their academic prowess on Monday afternoon when the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2021-22 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
Headlining the Panther honorees with a perfect 4.0 GPA is pitcher Allison Platon, while Whitney Ellis, Kelsie Rivers, Chloe French, Kelly McLaughlin, and Victoria Szrom all registered a 3.6 GPA or above for the academic year.
In order to qualify as an All-America Scholar-Athlete players must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the entire academic year.
Over 1,600 NCAA Division II scholar-athletes joined the six Panthers in being awarded for their hard work in the classroom.
Head coach Val Silvestrini and the Lady Panthers finished the 2022 reason with a 32-20 overall record going 15-15 in conference play.
