WATCH LIVE: A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket is set for launch at 9:41 a.m. from Kennedy Space Center Launchpad 39A on a U.S. Space Force mission, and is the first liftoff of the heavy lift vehicle and triple-booster landing since 2019. The SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket will be on a secret mission for the U.S. Space Force, carrying two satellites, one of which is a microsatellite called TETRA 1, into a geosynchronous orbit.

The two side boosters will land at Landing Zone 1 and Landing Zone 2 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – Brevard County residents are in for a treat as the world’s most powerful rocket is set for liftoff from the Space Coast next Tuesday, Nov. 1.

A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket is set for launch at 9:41 a.m. from Kennedy Space Center Launchpad 39A on a U.S. Space Force mission, and is the first liftoff of the heavy lift vehicle and triple-booster landing since 2019.

The 230-foot-tall Falcon Heavy rocket has three side-by-side boosters, which includes 27 Merlin engines producing more than 5 million pounds of thrust.

This will be only the fourth launch for the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket since its first in 2018, and after a 3- year long absence, the Space Coast will host several Falcon Heavy launches in the near future.

About 10 minutes after launch, the vehicle’s two side boosters will land at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in tandem. The two side boosters will land at Landing Zone 1 and Landing Zone 2 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
