First rocket launch is targeted for 4:21 p.m. ET
BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX will attempt to launch two rocket launches from Cape Canaveral Thursday afternoon.
The first SpaceX launch will feature first two O3b mPOWER broadband internet satellites into Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) for SES of Luxembourg.
The launch window is open from 4:21 p.m.-5:49 p.m. ET.
The satellites, built by Boeing, will provide internet services over most of the populated world, building on SES’s O3b network.
The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
The second rocket launch is set for either 4:54 p.m. or 5:13 p.m. and will feature the deployment of Starlink satellites.
