BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA –A man riding a motorized bicycle was killed in a vehicle crash near the intersection of Garden Street and Interstate 95 was killed Saturday night.
“At approximately 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, Titusville police officers responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving a vehicle and a motorized bicycle near the intersection of Garden Street and Interstate 95,” said Titusville Police Spokesperson Amy Matthews.
“The preliminary investigation revealed the adult male victim was struck as he crossed the northbound Interstate 95 entrance ramp on his Swagtron bicycle without yielding to oncoming traffic by a 2014 white Infiniti QX80 SUV driven by Aris J. Ramia Ramos, 42, of Titusville.”
Matthews said the victim was transported to a local and pronounced deceased at 10:05 p.m., and there were no other injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
