BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket carrying the AEHF-5 Mission is set to liftoff from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Thursday, June 27.
Launch window is set to open for 8:27 a.m. ET
The launch has been moved up from July 2.

Mission Information: United Launch Alliance will use an Atlas V 551 rocket to launch the fifth communications satellite in the Lockheed Martin-built Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) series for the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center.
AEHF satellites provide highly-secure, jam-proof connectivity between U.S. national leadership and deployed military forces. Atlas V rockets successfully launched the first four AEHF satellites in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2018.
Launch Notes: The AEHF-5 launch will mark the 80th Atlas V mission since the inaugural launch in 2002 and the 10th in the 551 configuration.
