JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Tigers state champion football team celebrated the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 40-34 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday with Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer Jawaan Taylor.
Former Cocoa Tiger and current Jacksonville Jaguar, Taylor sponsored game tickets for the entire coaching staff, athletic trainers, athletic director and principal.
The former Cocoa Tiger standout was inducted into the Space Coast Sports Hall of fame in 2020.
The Tigers claimed their 5th state title in school history after defeating the Florida State University High School Seminoles in overtime 38-31 at the 2022 FHSAA Class 2S State Championship at Gene Cox Stadium in Tallahassee this month.
