BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 57-year-old Melbourne man died Wednesday after he crashed his motorcycle US-1 and Friendship Place in Melbourne.
Authorities say the crash happened at 8:49 p.m. when a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old Cocoa woman was attempting to turn right turn onto US-1 when she entered the path of the motorcycle.
As a result, the motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
