Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a structure fire call on Merritt Island over the weeekend. According to officials, units arrived to find fire through the roof and BCFR Engine 42 made a quick knockdown. Fire officials said the fire was determined to be caused by electrical and has displaced two people and two dogs. “Crews from stations 40, 41, 42, 43, and 46 responded, as well as Districts 40 and 45,” said a Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson. BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a structure fire call on Merritt Island over the weeekend.

According to officials, units arrived to find fire through the roof and BCFR Engine 42 made a quick knockdown.

Fire officials said the fire was determined to be caused by electrical and has displaced two people and two dogs.
