Brevard County Fire Rescue Paramedic Richard Pierce Retires After Years of Dedicated Service

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue congratulated Paramedic Richard Pierce on retirement after concluding his career with the department.

“Richard has been an invaluable member of our fire department. Throughout his career, Richard has displayed unwavering commitment, also serving as President of Brevard County Professional Firefighters Union,” said Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson.

“As Richard embarks on this new chapter in his life, we want to express our deepest gratitude for his service and sacrifice.”

Brevard County Fire Rescue is an all hazards fire department, which means they do more than respond to fire and medical emergencies.

Brevard County Fire Rescue Services include Technical Rescue, Advanced Life Support transport for all of Brevard, Hazardous Materials mitigation,
Ocean Rescue, Marine Rescue and Community Risk Reduction (Fire Prevention).

Brevard County Fire Rescue is responsible for the protection of life and property of both residents and visitors and continues to develop and maintain programs that ensure the BCFR team is well-trained and equipped to service the Space Coast of Florida community.
