BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue members participated in a two-day Forcible Entry class at Station 41 in Merritt Island.

Forcible Entry techniques are used on both fire and EMS calls when the building is locked or secured and firefighters must gain entry to handle an emergency.

“A very special thank you goes out to Lieutenant Eric Wheaton from Winter Park FD for putting on this class for his hometown Fire Department.,” said a Brevard County Fire Rescue spokesperson.

Lt Wheaton is a well-respected Fire Service instructor who teaches firefighters all over the country.
