On January 10, 2019, the Palm Bay Police Department received a 911 call about a dead body found in a home. Officers responded to 725 Furth Rd NE and found Salvatore Callari dead inside the residence from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The initial investigation revealed that Callari was killed during an armed burglary of his home. After an extensive examination of the evidence and numerous interviews, investigators developed probable cause for the arrests of 53-year-old Frederick Charles Switzer and 33-year-old Robert Williams.

The additional suspect, Nicholas James Delgado, was linked to the case through evidence and witness testimony.

His case was brought before the grand jury on March 12 who indicted Delgado on Felony Murder and Armed Burglary.

On the same day, Delago was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Brevard County Jail on no bond.
