Message from Sheriff Wayne Ivey
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Yesterday morning and evening, members from almost every aspect of our agency took part in Christmas Parades throughout Brevard County as we joined our citizens in celebrating the holidays.
The annual parades in Mims, Merritt Island, Viera, and Palm Bay are always exciting and fun, as we get to display some of our amazing resources and team members, while also getting to interact with our citizens along the way.
We are truly blessed to always have such amazing support from our community as the show of support for our agency from the crowds along the parade route was simply incredible.
As I often tell everyone…”there is no better place in the country to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer than Brevard County,” and yesterday’s show of support from our community is the exclamation point on that statement.
Thank you to everyone who came out to watch the parades and of course a special “thank you” to everyone from our agency and their families, and all of the volunteers who joined with us to make these incredible parades possible.
