BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Members of Brevard County Sheriff’s Office have partnered with the Viera Walmart once again to hold their 19th annual “Shop With A Cop” event on December 9.
Last year’s event over 275 kids have a great Christmas morning, otherwise, they might not have a gift to open on Christmas Day.
During the “Shop With A Cop” event, each child is paired with a Brevard County Deputy Sheriff or Corrections Deputy who will walk with them through the store to help them pick out the various items on their Christmas Wish List.
The event is funded through donations made to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity by various businesses and citizens, not only helps others to have an incredible Christmas but also works to build positive relationships between BCSO and the community.
During the event, our Deputies and many other members of our agency volunteer their time to shop with the kids, wrap gifts, and even offer refreshments.
