Brevard County Woman Arrested for Drug Dealing, Judge Sets Her Bond to $328,000

Message from Sheriff Wayne Ivey

Trybe has an extensive criminal history that includes 26 felony charges and at least 2 felony convictions, that earned her time in the big house with the Department of Corrections for possession of methamphetamine, introduction of contraband into a detention facility, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – I’ve had enough of these drug dealers and apparently the Honorable Judge Michelle Baker has had enough too, as she just gave drug dealing Codi Trybe a huge bond of $328,000 dollars since she can’t seem to obey the law.

Folks, some people deserve second chances but not Codi Trybe.

Why you ask…because she has had her second, third, fourth, and twenty-sixth chance to be a good law abiding citizen and instead, she is just a drug dealer and criminal.

Trybe has an extensive criminal history that includes 26 felony charges and at least 2 felony convictions, that earned her time in the big house with the Department of Corrections for possession of methamphetamine, introduction of contraband into a detention facility, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Well her next felony arrest happened last night when South Precinct Deputy Michael Tufano conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle she was in and with the assistance of a Melbourne PD K9, a free air sniff was conducted on the vehicle with a positive alert for narcotics.

A subsequent vehicle search produced a wallet with an ID for Codi Trybe and a spoon that field tested positive for cocaine.

A persons search was subsequently conducted on Trybe, and a soft sided sunglass case was located in her bra that contained 6 different bags, weighing in total approximately 49g of a substance that field tested positive for Fentanyl.

Now keep in mind that 2mg of fentanyl is considered a lethal dose, meaning 49g of fentanyl would be enough to kill approximately 24,500 people.

Also located on Trybe were 2 additional bags of a substance that weighed approximately 40g and field tested positive for cocaine and also two baggies containing yellow and green pills identified as oxycodone that weighed approximately 18g and 8g respectively.

And of course no drug dealers smorgasbord would be complete without a small clear bag of approximately 0.6g of meth, and a needle

When is enough going to be enough with this drain on our society and taxpayer dollars? First of all, she could have easily been arrested for trying to impersonate “Pebbles” from The Flintstones, but instead she decides to continue her drug dealing ways by having in her possession enough fentanyl to kill over 24,000 people.

Well, thanks to Deputy Tufano she is right where she belongs now at “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” for a host of drug and trafficking charges and thanks to Assistant State Attorney Don Loughran and Judge Michelle Baker she is now on the extended stay package as Judge Baker actually increased her bond to a total of $328,000!

Now if the criminal justice system will just do its job and keep her locked behind bars we won’t have to keep locking her up for peddling poison on our streets!
