BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Last night, Deputies and other public safety members had the roadway barricaded while they were working a possible traffic fatality when this woman, Donna Freeman, decides to drive her car after being out drinking all night.

Freeman actually drove around the barricades, over multiple cones, and then almost hit one of the Road Rangers wearing a reflective vest who was helping with traffic control.

Oh, and if all of that weren’t bad enough, she was driving from the establishment she was previously patronizing with no headlights, so it’s a wonder she didn’t hit someone else.

Thankfully our Deputies got her vehicle stopped before she put anyone else at risk and then conducted field sobriety tests which as you might imagine, she couldn’t complete successfully.

Freeman was transported on a $3,000 bond to the very accommodating and spacious “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” where she had a pending reservation for Driving Under The Influence and Possession of a Controlled Substance, after also being found in possession of a single Hydrocodone Pill.

No surprise here, but Freeman was already in our guest registry at the “Iron Bar Lodge” for a previous DUI arrest, so apparently she didn’t learn her lesson.

You know folks, I don’t begrudge anyone going out and having a good time, but when you’re selfish, irresponsible, and reckless actions put the lives of others at risk, that’s where I draw the line and your butt goes to jail.

Don’t Drink And Drive So Everyone Can Stay Alive.
