BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools recognized Satellite High School Principal Mr. Robert Pruett and Ms. Kellee McCluney of Saturn Elementary School during the Superintendent Summit.

“Congratulations to Mr. Pruett for being named the 2023-2024 Principal of the Year and Ms. McCluney for being named the 2023-2024 Assistant Principal of the Year,” said a Brevard Public Schools spokesperson.

Brevard Public Schools celebrated its school leaders by holding a Leadership Conference and Superintendent Summit to inform school leaders of various tools to improve student academic performance while also inspiring BPS leaders to continue striving to be Brevard’s best education.

During the Superintendent Summit, Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell spoke to administrators about inspiring their students and staff to have a great year.

Motivational speaker and adventurer Erik Weihenmayer gave a tremendous speech about perseverance to overcome all odds.
