BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation will open the lighthouse to a very limited number of guests on December 2 for Christmas at the Lighthouse.

Guests will enjoy seeing the lighthouse decorated for the season and get a close-up look at the beacon.

They will also be able to tour the lighthouse, the museum with its gift shop, and Hanger C, next door, where delicious food and drinks await among the rockets and missiles.

Carolers will stroll and sing as you celebrate.

The celebration runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Only 155 tickets at a $100 donation each, will be available in honor of the Cape Canaveral “cast iron” Lighthouse’s 155 years of existence.

Cape Canaveral has had a lighthouse since 1848; the cast iron since 1868.

The Cape Canaveral Lighthouse, established in 1868 on the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, is the only lighthouse owned by the Space Force. It has guided mariners off the coast long before the dawn of the space program.
