BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay issued a traffic alert ahead of the Independence Day Celebration on Sunday.

The City of Palm Bay’s Annual Independence Day Celebration returns to the Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College, 250 Community College Pkwy SE, this year.

The celebration will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with fireworks capping off the evening around 9:15 p.m.

In addition to the fireworks, the event will feature more than 20 food trucks, vendors, live music, and a kids’ zone with free inflatables, games, and face painting. This year’s live music will be provided by Joseph Jevanni & Intensity Live.

They are a high energy band playing something for everyone.

Free parking is available on the Eastern Florida State College campus. The parking entrance is located at San Filippo Drive and Community College Parkway, behind the Lowe’s.

“Please plan your travels accordingly and use alternate routes when necessary,” said a City of Palm Bay spokesperson.

“If you don’t have plans already stop by the City of Palm Bay – Government’s Independence Day Celebration at Eastern Florida State College Palm Bay Campus! The event begins at 5 p.m. with fireworks capping off at 9:15 p.m.”
